Remark Group has a vacancy for a Key Account Assistant to join our highly motivated and dedicated Client Communications team. We are looking for an individual who is driven, ambitious and able to work within a fast paced, reactive environment.

You will receive 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), required/necessary training, along with the opportunity to join a growing business with opportunities for progression.

This is an office-based role whereby applicants will be required to attend and work out of our Peterborough Office, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.


Job Description

  • Respond to new client enquiries and existing client business.
  • Manage client enquiries whilst ensuring quotations are completed within clients' expectation ensuring you are working towards improving profits and reducing supplier costs.
  • Assisting with the coordination of supplier activity & involving yourself in multiple projects across the wider Remark team.
  • Input into the marketing plans in-line with the business' strategies.
  • Effective, organised and communicate efficiently with the team and inspire trust in those around you in a fast-paced reactive office.
  • Preparing Costings within Excel to support the company's quotation process.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sale support to customers, and resolutions to issues when required.
  • Assist Key Account Managers with procurement, product sourcing, to ensure best procurement processes are achieved.


  • Develop strong relationships within the company across all departments, including customers/suppliers/manufactures.
  • Input into the marketing activities from an operational view.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimum service levels are consistently delivered.
  • Ensuring excellent product and system knowledge throughout.
  • Document preparation, reports, letters, memos etc.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks through to completion & provide reports where required.
  • Maintain group quality and work within the Company Health & Safety standards.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and problem-solving mentality
