RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc, a global multi-channel distributor who offer more than 500,000 industrial & electronics, with operations in 32 countries.
Brief
RS Components needed a complete refresh of their main reception at their Corby site. The refresh required a full LED Lighting solution, incorporating the latest technology with scene setting controls and dimming capabilities as well as Digital signage displays to showcase their recent videos, projects and welcome visitors and suppliers to the business.

Digital Sigange
RS Components wanted a digital signage solution to communicate to their visitors that showed RS’s history through to their cutting edge technology and innovation focused on customers changing needs.
The Digital Signage Remark group provided included a large video wall with a fully designed reception welcome digital signage display which included stories from real life inventors such as flying man and footage from RS’s latest staff events.
Other digital displays included touchscreens and displays screens in the ‘Innovation’ room, with the opportunity to enjoy and explore VR time travel.
The displays and content are designed to be continuously refreshed to reflect evolving technology and customer requirements.
Lighting Control
Remark Group have a wealth of experience in lighting solutions for interior and exterior projects, so when RS Components came to us with the requirements, our project managers had the knowledge and experience to assist.
RS Components needs an LED Lighting Solution that would enhance their new reception area and work in tune with the digital signage solution.
Remark Group designed, installed and commissions a fully designed lighting layout to provide sufficient Lux Levels across the entire reception and welcome area. The lighting control enables them to utilise the lighting per room and change the levels depending on the activity of work and amount of people in the room.
Electrical & Data
Remark Group had the pleasure in installing the full data and electrical solution to support the digital signage and lighting to ensure for a fully integrated final product.
Working closely with the client and the design team, Remark delivered the project on time and within budget restraints to the satisfaction of all RS Components employees and visitors who enjoy their refreshed reception area.
