The Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) is a non-profit trade association, representing manufacturers and importers of agricultural machinery and outdoor equipment. The AEA promotes the technical, trade and commercial interests of British manufacturers and suppliers of agricultural machinery. Their members cover a broad spectrum of manufacturers of land-based agricultural equipment.
The Challenge
The AEA were looking to upgrade their boardroom equipment to suit their broad video conferencing needs, which have changed since COVID-19.
Prior to COVID-19, the AEA were having 25+ association meetings per year, both in person in their large 20+ seat boardroom on-site, and off-site.

The association required a solution that allowed them to host meetings virtually, to accommodate how COVID-19 has changed their business functions, and how they interact with their members.

The Solution
Remark Group were able to meet the AEA’s requirements by providing a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) video conferencing solution. Remark Group provided the whole turnkey solution, which included the supply, installation, and commissioning of the video conferencing solution.
The commercial grade solution included a digital signal processor, to provide extremely high-quality audio. The audio DSP includes acoustic echo cancellation technology to improve voice quality and reduce unwanted background noise. The design also included ceiling microphones to enhance the conferencing applications, by providing high-quality audio.
The Results
Easy to use, intuitive, and a hassle-free solution
The solution aimed to allow the AEA to host and receive video conferencing calls from a variety of conferencing software. The association now has the ability to connect to various video conferencing software including Zoom, Microsoft Teams and GoToMeetings. The AEA is able to virtually meet or host events with their different members, depending on their individual preferences.
The conferencing camera provided offers wide-angle capability to capture all participants in the large meeting room, with advanced noise reduction and versatile connectivity for multiple applications such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Jabber, WebEx, GoToMeeting, and Google Hangouts. The camera also provides pan, tilt, zoom, with high quality 12x optical zoom and 1080p video, to ensure a professional-grade conferencing experience.
The video conferencing solution has ultimately allowed AEA to host flexible professional video conferencing calls and hybrid conferences with clients and remote employees.
