Actions and Solutions

Working closely with the client, the project required detailed planning to ensure that no disruption was experienced to the live working offices. This planning involved any work which was deemed disruptive, such as noise levels, removal of building material or movement of office furniture would be carried out outside of normal office hours, while discreet work such as adjusting light fittings and checking lighting levels could be undertaken during office working hours.

A programme of works was presented to the client for approval which provided a stream lined plan to maintain the expectations required to successfully deliver the installation. The need for flexible hours is very common and a daily requirement from the Remark Group’s engineering teams, who have extensive experience with this.

One of our many core strengths at Remark is ensuring every project is assigned a Project Manager who is responsible for direct communication between our business and the end client. During this project the Remark Group communicated with the client and their designer to ensure we allowed for the relocation of all existing floor boxes to fit the new desk layouts and included an allowance for new tap-off connections where required.

Remark’s engineering teams delivered this successful project due to the flexibility of the engineering teams working schedules and Remarks project management team regularly inspect the works undertaken to ensure the highest level of standards are maintained at all times. The Remark Group prides itself on standards of workmanship, from constant training and educational programmes to our engineers being fully trained to the latest regulations and installation expectations.
