Customer Name

Masteroast

Client

Masteroast Coffee Company is a coffee roasting and packing facility, offering a range of coffees and private label packing solutions. Masteroast are European wide distributors and have a fleet that includes their own delivery vehicles, as well as world-wide delivery capabilities.

Brief

Masteroast were looking to further-proof their business by making the switch to electric. By investing in their first electric car, they need a reliable company to design and install an electric vehicle charging solution.

“Remark provided an excellent and seamless service including advice on the right charger needed for our first move to EVs.We will be using their services again as the number of our EVs increase.”

Solution

Remark provided the supply, electrical connections and installation of a dedicated Electric Vehicle Charging Point, to support the implementation of electric vehicles at Masteroast.

The corrosion-resistant charging point is designed to offer Mode 3 fast charging to every electric vehicle on the market and is specifically designed for charging electric vehicles (EV) in commercial locations – offering

EV charging to clients, customers and employees alike. Typically, vehicles will be parked for a longer duration at the workplace; whether that’s during the working day or for parked fleet vehicles over-night. This provides a perfect opportunity to charge a vehicle, as well as reducing fuel costs and provides a convenient charging solution right on your company’s doorstep.

By switching to EV, Masteroast will also reduce carbon emissions, help to tackle climate change, and improve air quality – providing a leading example of how businesses can use technology to reduce their carbon footprint, and improve workplace wellbeing.

Following an initial Site Survey, the site-specific electrical connections were determined, and a choice of suitable installation locations were provided for the customer to select. Masteroast are now able to successfully charge not only their own company vehicles, but also offer the charging facility to clients and visitors, creating a sustainable travel solution.

Electric Vehicle Charging

Plug-in electric vehicles (also known as electric cars) use electricity stored in a battery pack, to power the vehicle’s electric motor. Remark Group are approved by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) and Rolec EV, to install Rolec Electric Car Charging Points under Government initiated Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme and Workplace Charging Scheme.

All Rolec installers are specifically chosen for their ability to deliver a competent, prompt and professional service, ensuring that their customers’ EV charging requirements are managed, installed and certificated to the highest standard.
