Commercial Electrical & Network Infrastructure for VentfiltersRus’ New Warehouse

The Brief

Client

VentfiltersRus provides servicing, maintenance and replacement filters for domestic mechanical ventilation systems across the UK, supporting developers, housing providers and homeowners.

Delivered the electrical, network and security infrastructure for VentfiltersRus’ new office and warehouse facility.

VentfiltersRus is a long-standing partner of Remark Group. Following continued growth and expansion, the business made the decision to invest in a new office and warehouse facility in Yaxley.

Having worked together over a number of years, VentfiltersRus approached Remark Group to support the fit-out of its new premises, bringing together the electrical and technology infrastructure required across the site.

The project covered everything from power distribution, lighting and data infrastructure through to wireless connectivity, access control, CCTV, fire detection and intruder protection.

The Solution

A Complete Infrastructure Fit-Out

With VentfiltersRus moving into a new facility, the project provided the opportunity to put the electrical, network and security infrastructure in place from the outset.

Remark Group delivered the installation across the new office and warehouse, coordinating multiple systems as part of the wider fit-out and taking the project through installation, testing and commissioning.

Electrical Infrastructure

The electrical installation covered power distribution, containment, lighting and small power throughout the new premises.

New Schneider distribution boards were installed to serve the office and warehouse, alongside dedicated supplies for building services, access control, the roller door and EV charging.

Lighting was also installed throughout the facility, including the office, warehouse and external areas, with PIR-controlled operation.

Network & Wireless

We installed the data infrastructure needed to support VentfiltersRus' connectivity across the new site, including CAT6e cabling, network outlets, patching and a dedicated communications cabinet.

A Ubiquiti UniFi wireless solution was installed alongside the wired network, with Wi-Fi 6 access points positioned throughout the premises to provide wireless connectivity across the facility.

Security & Access

The security installation brought together access control, CCTV and intruder detection across the new premises.

A Ubiquiti UniFi access control system was installed to manage entry into the building, while an Ajax CCTV and intruder alarm solution provided wider protection across the site.

The CCTV installation included seven cameras positioned around the facility, with door protection and motion detection forming part of the intruder alarm system.

Fire Detection

An Ajax EN54 fire alarm system was installed across the facility, incorporating smoke and heat detection, manual call points and sounders.
