One of our Technicians, Jason, has reached a huge Remark milestone this month as he celebrates 20 years with the company. We asked Jason a few questions in reflection on his time here at Remark, this is what he said:
How long have you worked at Remark?
“I first joined Remark Group 20 years ago on 7th May 2002 and I have seen the development of a lot of new tech since!”
What has been your favourite thing about working at Remark?
“One of my favourite things about Remark Group is the people. The relationships I have built with my colleagues and camaraderie throughout the past 20 years is a definite highlight. As well as this, I have been involved in many enjoyable projects onsite with customers.”
What has been your favourite experience/project and why?
“There really are too many favourite moments over the years to mention! The variety of customers Remark Group has means I have worked in some great environments. To name a few, I worked on a project at Stancliffe Hall, which is a grade II listed venue near to the Peak District. I was also involved in a project for Middlesborough Football Club, but there are so many more.”
What is your fondest / funniest memory of your time at Remark?
“The past 20 years have been very interesting as I have seen the development of lots of new workplace technologies and infrastructures – from telephony systems to video conferencing, to increased bandwidth speed, and the introduction of smart buildings. I’ve got lots of fond memories here.”
