This year’s coffee morning was a little bit different to previous ones. We had to ensure that employees were able to enjoy the coffee morning both safely and with social distancing rules in place.
The team really came together this year to make sure that everyone followed the right procedures, with those bringing in home-baked treats individually wrapping everything. We had a range of treats brought in from cookie Oreo brownies to the classic shortbread and even a birthday cake for one of our employees.
With a cashless approach this year and QR codes placed around the coffee table, employees could donate using the online platform provided by Macmillan. Our target this year was £200, and we managed to reach this target, plus a little bit more reaching an amazing £213.90.
The team had a thoroughly enjoyable day and we can’t wait to take part in the Coffee Morning 2021.
