On 26th May 2018 the Glinton & Northborough under 13’s Amber Football Club won the Bourne Tournament!
The Remark Group has proudly sponsored the Glinton & Northborough under 13’s Amber Football Club for over nine months now and we couldn’t be any prouder of them.
The team won the tournament playing some fantastic football. The first two games were well-deserved 2-0 wins, after that though the next game didn’t go so well with them losing 3 -1. Thanks to the first two games ending in such a great result for them they only needed to draw or win the last game to qualify for the semi-finals……they drew 1-1.
The semi-final was a hard-fought game ending in a 2-2 draw, with the goalkeeper making a fantastic save in the last seconds of extra time.
With all these games under their belts the team powered on through to the final, winning 1-0 to the Bourne team.
As well as winning, the team had a fantastic tournament with smiles and laughs all day – as you can see in the photo!
