Stroke Association is very close to our hearts here at Remark with two members of Remark staff having a family member suffer from a severe stroke in the past year. With this in mind we wanted to hold a day to show our support to our Remark staff and all those affected by stroke.
On Friday 18th May Remark hosted a ‘Purple Picnic’ in aid of ‘Make May Purple’ for Stroke Association. The day was filled with a variety of purple clothes and purple treats provided by our lovely staff including a summer berries Victoria sponge and purple vanilla fairy cakes.
also held a ‘Pick the Purple Picture’ competition in the week leading up to the day with the winner being announced that morning. The competition was won by our lovely Senior Administrator, Stacey – pictured to the right with her winning chocolates.
The Remark team raised £105.56 for the cause which was kindly doubled by Remark Group’s Managing Director to make a substantial donation of £212. Not only did we raise money for a great cause, but we also had a fun day doing so, thanks to all our Remark staff for joining in and making it a memorable day.
