Hello October

What’s happening this October?

It’s October, so you know what that means? Autumn leaves, Halloween and the Smart Buildings Show!

We’re excited to return to the Smart Buildings Show after a great year last year, our stand is E22 where we will be discussing our smart buildings solutions. We are particularly excited this year as not only are we exhibiting, but we are also holding a seminar. The seminar will be on our ‘Noise and Wellbeing at Work’ survey 2019 and we are honoured to have Dr Nigel Oseland holding the talk on our behalf, you can see full details on the talk here, which will be on 10th October at 12:15pm.

Before the Smart Buildings Show though, we will be exhibiting at BGL’s META Conference 2019. The conference brings the entire BGL team across the country together to discuss the latest technologies.

Remark Group are also delighted to announce our involvement in PFM’s panel discussion looking at the wider picture of workplace relocations. The panel discussion will be held in Birmingham and our very own technical director will be on the panel discussingthe strategic benefits of improving the workplace that often results when companies relocate.

As well as all of Remark’s events, October is also the month of World Mental Health Day on the 10th October. World Mental Health Day is a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma. Work can have a significant impact on our mental health and wellbeing, but there are steps as an employer that you can take to try and help the wellbeing of your employees.

October is also the month for those sober heroes raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a couple of our Remark employees are taking part and we wish them all the luck in the challenge.

As always, you can keep up to date with everything we are up to on our twitter page.
