As a skilled AV engineer you will be responsible for the Installation and integration of commercial audio-visual systems for our Customers. You will work under instruction from project managers and site supervisors, following schematics and designer drawings. You will be expected to work efficiently and without supervision at times, to a high standard, ensuring that all aspects of Health & Safety are met. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and overcome challenges that present themselves. As this industry is ever evolving you will be required to educate yourself on new products and industry changes.  This role requires travel within the UK and occasional overnight stays.

Job Description

Areas of Responsibility:

  • 1st and 2nd fix AV installations
  • Installation & termination of cable management systems
  • Follow schematics, cable schedules, site plans and customer specific drawings
  • Fault Finding/fault reporting, ensuring issues are resolved or escalated to the correct parties.
  • Liaise with the customers on site personnel, in person/phone/email.
  • IMAC’s (installs, moves & changes) as requested.
  • Follow Remarks service management at all times.
  • Take ownership of quality standards & report any defects to team leaders/Managers.
  • Uphold the Remark company values
  • Complete general administration tasks, (job sheets/surveys)
  • Working at height and enclosed spaces
  • Support the engineering team where and when necessary.
