We installed a Video and Audio conferencing Upgrade Solution within Quai Digital's Meeting Rooms.

Quai Digital’ Founder & CEO, Tony Webb, reached out to Remark Group after searching for a reputable Video Conferencing installers within the local area, although we cover nationally, the opportunity to support a local business within Peterborough is always a privilege so we were pleased to have received Tony’s online contact form explaining the need to upgrade two of their conferencing rooms.

Our Communications Team liaised with Quai Digital to schedule a survey to obtain a thorough understanding of their requirements, current setup, and expectations. As a business that prides ourselves on the ability to react within a timely manner, the survey was completed the following day. Remark’s team met with Lisa and Tony, and the initial request to upgrade two meeting rooms soon turned into two large conference rooms and two smaller huddle style rooms that required a technology refresh, due to complaints from both internal and external attendees, for example, the camera not working or poor audio quality, which had resulted in the rooms being left unused and staff utilising their laptops and headsets for meetings, which we all knew couldn’t continue!

The Solution

With solution-based technology at the forefront of our business, our Communications Team quickly identified that Quai Digital would benefit from additional services. Sound Masking was recommended after the team noticed that conversations within the meeting rooms could be heard within the open plan office. After providing a brief overview of the solution benefits, we left Quai Digital thinking about additional enhancements we could offer.

Demonstration

Our quotation was submitted alongside an invitation for Quai Digital to visit our Peterborough HQ, which offers demonstration facilities integrated throughout, allowing us to showcase services from Sound Masking, Digital Signage, and Meeting Room Solutions to Perimeter Security System, CCTV, and many others.

Although admittedly apprehensive of the Sound Masking recommendation initially, Quai Digital gracefully accepted our invitation, Remark Group were able to showcase the impressive ability to restore privacy between meeting spaces and to provide a more comfortable and productive open plan office environment. We also had the opportunity to show the functionality and benefits of the recommended meeting room equipment.

It’s significant to acknowledge that Quai Digital highlighted we were not the cheapest installers and we know this to be true, for many cases is it the classic “you get what you pay for” but, it was important for Remark Group to work with Quai Digital to offer a cost effective solution, aligned with their budgetary requirements, as well as technology needs, which also remained representative of our expertise and without comprising on quality approach. We’re pleased that we were able to achieve this, and have successfully delivered Video & Audio Conferencing, Sound Masking and Digital Signage Solutions, enhancing both the staff and external stakeholders experience, whether it be an in- person visit or via a Microsoft Teams Meeting, quality is a staple to each meeting Quai Digital hold moving forward.
