YetiCare is an inclusive technology solution for health and social care. It combines dedicated hardware with easy-to-use applications to help professionals engage people with complex needs in meaningful activities. These activities encourage participation, stimulation and social interaction.
The YetiCare solution is built around the Yetitablet, a large Android tablet with a durable PanzerGlass touchscreen and adjustable stand. It features an intuitive user interface and YetiApps, a suite of applications developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals. The apps are designed to support inclusive participation in cognitive, physical and social activities.
YetiCare is designed to make digital activities more accessible and engaging, from games and quizzes to creative, movement and learning activities. What Is the Yetitablet?
The Yetitablet combines a large touchscreen with an adjustable mobile stand, used vertically or lowered into a table position, giving several people space to take part together rather than crowding round a personal device.
It runs on a Google EDLA-certified Android operating system with access to YetiApps, quizzes, creative tools, virtual travel via Google Earth and more, so staff can find activities suited to different interests and abilities. The size and adjustable stand also make it a practical fit for residents with limited sight or motor skills.

Supporting Residents, SEND Pupils and Activity Teams
The Yetitablet supports games, quizzes, memory and cognitive activities, music, creative sessions and gentle movement, individually, one-to-one, or as a group. It's also used in SEND and education settings for learning, communication, creativity and motor skills.
YetiApps provide a ready-made selection of games and activities, giving staff different options to draw on when planning sessions.

Backed by Research
A qualitative study in the Nordic Journal of Nursing Research (2026) followed a 12-week digital gaming intervention across three Finnish nursing homes, gathering staff experiences of introducing this kind of technology into everyday care. Staff reported increased participation and social interaction, and in some cases activities revealed abilities in residents they hadn't previously recognised. It's a qualitative study based on staff observation, not a measure of clinical outcomes, but a genuine account of staff experiences with digital gaming. Read the study.
